Low-Light Vision

Tengus have low-light vision allowing them to see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.

Carrion Sense

Many tengus have a natural ability to sniff out carrion. While their sense of smell isn’t as keen as that of other species, it is particularly attuned to the scent of injuries or death.

Carrion Feeder

He gains a racial bonus on saving throws against diseases and ingested poisons (but not other poisons). He receives a bonus on Survival skill checks to find food for himself (and only himself ).

Long-Nose Form

Once per day, he can assume the form of a human whose nose is the length of his beak.

Well-Versed

The bard becomes resistant to the bardic performance of others, and to sonic effects in general.

Bardic Knowledge & Lore Master

A bard adds half his class level to all Knowledge skill checks and may make all Knowledge skill checks untrained.
The bard becomes a master of lore and can take 10 on any Knowledge skill check that he has ranks in. In addition, once per day, the bard can take 20 on any Knowledge skill check as a standard action.

Family Ties

While not ethnically a Varisian, he has been raised among Varisians and they consider him one of their own. Furthermore, he managed to get in good with a group of Sczarni and consider them his new family. After being run out of the last place his Sczarni family camped, he tracked down a friend of the family in Sandpoint—a ruthless thug named Jubrayl Vhiski at the Fatman’s Feedbag. During his time with the Sczarni, he learned a few tricks of the trade. He gains a +1 trait bonus on Knowledge (local) checks and Knowledge (local) is always a class skill for him. In addition, he is able to speak and read Varisian.
