Cecelia is the bright, energetic, and immature younger sibling of her group. She’s always getting into mix ups with people as she is very impulsive with her decisions however, despite her lack of maturity and sense of shame, she knows when to shut up and back off from someone or something. When she's got her eyes on something (whether it be a prize, a new skill, a new friend she wants to impress, or finishing a project) she stops at almost nothing to get it done. Cecelia can be regarded as a bit lazy, most notably about her hair. She hates to brush it out and usually just relies on one of her sisters to take care of it for her, otherwise, it will get progressively more untamed throughout the day. She is prideful and confident, perseverant, and a loyal friend to those she trusts the most, but she can be rather loud, immature, and lazy at other times.
Cecelia prefers to do things with a sound effects, such as punching with a “Wapow!” or kicking something with a “Hiyah!,” believing that it helps make her life feel a little more interesting. She also dreams that one day, she will be able to travel into space and visit aliens, since she has had such a strong love for them ever since she was little. While some believe she is nothing but a child in a teenager’s body, once someone gets to know her and she opens up to them, they can see how most of the things she does has some reason behind it. For example, her confidence hides her insecurities, her aggressive attitude stems from her underlying frustration with her magic, and her desire to show-off comes from her feeling of worthlessness when compared to her more gifted siblings. However, her generally positive attitude may also be a result of being around her companion, Chime, for very long amounts of time. Myscs, such as Chime, naturally feed upon negative emotions and give off a soothing aura, replacing bad feelings with good ones.

Gray Magic (-)
Cecelia is a mage with gray magic that is aligned with offensive black magic, otherwise known as active gray magic/ gray magic (-). The peculiar thing about Cecelia's magic is that she isn't able to harness it without the assistance of her staff-scythe, which isn't very common for mages. This fact has lead Cecelia to become a little insecure about her own strength and being able to "keep up" with her siblings. She utilizes the orb at the end of her scythe to contain, control, and direct all of the magical energy she transfers into it. Some abilities she has developed include beams, beam projectiles, beam-cut projectiles, and coating her scythe blade to change it into beam-blade.
Staff-Scythe
Cecelia is almost 100% reliant on her staff-scythe, nicknamed Bolt Crusher, since it is the only thing that allows her attack and deal damage to others. It’s primary function is to be used like a scythe, however, it also stores and releases magical energy that is fed into it. Despite the object being excessively heavy, the full weight only seems to apply to anyone besides Cecelia, allowing her to wield it as if it was as light as a feather. She has practiced basic techniques with the large weapon and can swing, slash, and cut down enemies.
Lying
Cecelia is a great liar. If the group gets into a bad situation that requires some fake storytelling, the number-one go-to person to get them out of the problem would be Cecelia. She has a knack for making up fake but usually believable stories, and coupled with her bright and confident attitude, she’s usually able to sell a story to just about anyone. This ability dates back to her early childhood years when she had to make up stories to explain her periodic absences to her parents. Since then, Cecelia has gotten better at observing circumstances and being able to think up a lie on the spot.
Pickpocketing
Being able to move quickly and quietly, as long as she’s not panicking, Cecelia can usually snatch a few small items off of some passerby without anyone noticing, or slip something from a store off the shelf and leave with it unnoticed. Since her early childhood when she had to steal medicine and medical herbs for her mother, Cecelia has worked on developing her thievery skills and working around strangers and civilians that are always watching for a thief’s next move. However, Cecelia tends to take things more for herself than for others, snatching up spare coins, loose change, interesting knick-knacks, and other cool, shiny items that she believes might of use before escaping under the victim’s nose.
Summary
Cecelia lived with her older sister, Robyn, her mother, Arelia, and her occasionally present father, Wilford, in the town of Aradel. When Cecelia was initially born, her parents had assumed that she was a white mage judging by the fact that they had already had a black mage child before her and also because of the notable features she shared with her white mage father. While appearances and genetic similarities have no real connection to what kind of mage a newborn is, they noticed that Robyn had more shared physical attributes with her mother than her father and she happened to have her exact magic type as well. However, to both of their surprise, Cecelia seemed to exhibit no apparent abilities at all, which was a stark contrast from their previous child who almost burned down the house at only a year and a half of age. Both parents were worried that something was wrong with her, but there were no places nearby for them to take Cecelia to in order to have her examined, so they just hoped she was a late bloomer and would eventually show them some sign of magical ability. However, Cecelia could never produce even a slight spark even at the late age of five years old, an age that was generally considered a late as a newborn mage could go before showing any signs of magic ability at all.
Arelia was heartbroken and under the impression that Cecelia was powerless by some stroke of misfortune, but Wilford was less pessimistic and determined to prove that she had power somewhere in her since the genetics all pointed towards that conclusion. He began to craft her a magical weapon with rare parts he had obtained from his trading travels, designing a staff with a rare type of raw, neutral energy inside of it that would be tainted and align with any of the three types as soon as it was used by a mage of that corresponding type. Wilford added a summonable scythe blade to it just in case she still couldn’t use its magical half, and planned to give it to her when she was twelve years old to start training with it in secret. While her parents worried about her future in private, Cecelia went on with her fairly upbeat life, hanging out with new friends at Aradel’s local elementary school and playing with her sister. Cecelia enjoyed the company of many friends and would often ask to go play with them after school, usually coming home later around evening time just before dinner. It made her sister a little jealous that she was having so much fun, but at the same time, Cecelia knew Robyn liked it indoors and away from people anyway, so she didn’t seem very concerned about her sister.
Leaving Home
While Cecelia and Robyn enjoyed their childhoods going to school and trying to blend in with the normal surroundings, some townsfolk of Aradel were getting fairly suspicious of the Malones, especially one particular citizen by the name of Baren. He had been spying on them for a while ever since he swore he saw Cecelia’s mother use magic. He eventually got permission to confront Arelia and turn her and her children in to the authorities as witches after obtaining photographic evidence. Wilford had gotten word of this and warned his family to get out of the house immediately. While Robyn and Cecelia grabbed supplies from the shed outside, the mayor’s officials came early and killed Arelia as soon as they saw her raise her hands, assuming she would try to burn them. Cecelia never actually saw her mom die, but was told so after Wilford took her and Robyn onto his summoned motorcycle and drove off with them, leaving her in tears and misery the whole way through. A day into their trip, they realized they were being followed and Wilford had to separate from them to divert the official’s path from them. He gave them directions to meet up with their half siblings before giving them his final goodbyes. Cecelia was heartbroken to lose both her parents and felt like sitting down and crying, but Robyn pulled her together and forced them both to keep going. They eventually met up with Clair and Harvey and made their way to a safer place away from anyone seeking to destroy them.
Cecelia is the rebellious, impulsively-driven co-leader of her traveling group of siblings. They were on a journey to discover their abilities and put an end to the devilish plans of the powerful twins they encountered earlier in their travels. Throughout the story, Cecelia had been the number one person to lead the group astray from their set path to check out surrounding areas, spiritual grounds, and other interesting landscapes. However, she was also one of the bigger trouble-makers, always playing pranks on her siblings or getting them mixed up into unnecessary circumstances with other people. Cecelia was also a strong provider of motivation and fun, always trying to have a good time with everyone and personally making sure everyone kept going, even when they felt like they couldn't last any longer.
Inventory
Staff Scythe
Originally, Cecelia found her staff-scythe in an abandoned shack alongside Robyn’s twin wands. She theorizes that her father may have created it for her for future use and stored it before disappearing. Without her staff-scythe, Cecelia is weak and completely vulnerable to attack, so she has developed a very overprotective attitude towards it. It has a crystal attached to it, which helps contain and control her otherwise erratic and raw energy and its blade can be summoned at Cecelia's will. It is a very heavy weapon to carry for all but Cecelia due to it being bonded to her and adjusting its weight magically to suit her needs.
Throwing Knives
As a backup, incase she is ever separated from her staff-scythe, Cecelia carries around a few borrowed throwing that her half brother, Harvey, gave to her. They’re normally hidden in her pockets or up her sleeves so that she can quickly throw them either as an attack or a diversion while she goes to retrieve her staff-scythe. She’s not the most accurate thrower in the world though, so she does not normally rely on knives for her safety and defense and uses them only as a last resort.
Dark Hood
Cecelia’s water-proof hood was gifted to her by her father after he returned from a trading trip to the southern part of the continent of Euran. He had bought it for her along with a few other things as compensation gifts for not being home very often with his wife, Robyn, and Cecelia. The green trim reminded him of the color of Cecelia’s eyes and her favorite alien doll, making him pick that up as well. While Cecelia doesn’t wear it very often since she gets annoyed with how it compresses all her hair into the hood, she still loves it as a reminder of her father and keeps it stored in her backpack for when she absolutely needs it.
Alien Backpack
Cecelia’s alien backpack was one of the many things she had stolen from a store along her travels with her siblings. She saw it sitting around in the clearance section of thrift store and, while nobody was looking, slipped her hood over it after making sure everyone was much more interested in the diversion by the front desk created by her companion, Chime. After that, she slipped out of there, backpack in hand, and has been storing all of her snacks, notebooks, and stolen, shiny items inside ever since then.
Utility Belts
Cecelia sometimes wears one or two smaller belts attached to the main belt around her waist. They’re normally just for looks and appearances, but she occasionally uses them for hanging things like bottles with clips, drawstring bags, or other objects if her backpack is full. She sometimes also combined the two belts together for a longer, white belt and uses that to help her reach objects high above her head or to slap someone with for a quick attack-and-run.
Links
Robyn Malone
Robyn is Cecelia's older sister with an age difference of 2 years. Cecelia usually gives Robyn a rough time whenever the chance is given, and Cecelia thoroughly enjoys pulling pranks on her. It's very common for Cecelia and Robyn to break into an argument (it usually ends up starting from Cecelia charging in to do/stop something and then Robyn stopping Cecelia to rationalize with her and think of a better plan). Cecelia and Robyn's relationship is a "love/hate" relationship between two siblings that still, deep down, love each other.
Clair Arduino
Clair is Cecelia's older half sister with an age difference of 1 year. Clair and Cecelia usually get along very well, and are often seen together playing a game or going off on an adventure while Robyn stays behind to hold down the fort or just relax. Cecelia usually goes to Clair for advice and educational lessons (since she doesn't feel like asking Robyn as she knows she'll just get irritated with her) and enjoys playing with Cheruby. Chime and Cheruby are really good friends too, so Cecelia and Clair sometimes watch the two play together. Clair and Cecelia share a caring and respective relationship.
Harvey Arduino
Harvey is Cecelia's older half brother with an age difference of 2 years. He is the fun and sporty type, and thoroughly enjoys Cecelia's go-getting and rambunctious attitude. They often challenge each other to playful duels and enjoy scouring the forests for cool plants and animals. Harvey is a storyteller, and enjoys writing, so sometimes when he's with Cecelia, he'll read off some of his adventurous and action-filled stories to her. Cecelia and Harvey also spend a fair amount of time in surfboarding lessons, where Harvey tries to teach Cecelia how to ride his light board through the air. Harvey and Cecelia have a very stable and playful sibling relationship.
Chime
Cecelia first met Chime when she and her friends visited a Mysc hive on their way to a white-magic town. She quickly befriended Chime after assisting it with building it's home and gifting a small, silver bell. After Chime had returned to Cecelia with the bell and didn't want to leave, Cecelia quickly adopted him and they became close friends. Chime has a tendency to get into trouble and loves to steal Cecelia's hat from her. Since Chime is a Mysc, which have the power to feed on negative emotions, whenever Cecelia feels down, Chime usually nuzzles her and tries to cheer her up by making her feel better with its soothing aura.
