This character is a fan character for The King of Fighters series by SNK.
Kai is a young man who enjoys researching different fighting styles and martial arts techniques. This passion of his led him to become obsessed with the King of Fighters tournaments and its participants. He gathers as much information he can on every fighter and often uses the data he collects to predict who would be the next KOF champ. He may or may not also have a cousin who is part of the yakuza? Who the hell knows, he ain't telling.
He is friends with Kiki Cruz and acts as her "mission control" when she needs information on other KOF participants.
During summer 1994, he discovered KOF through the preliminary qualification tournament taking place in Japan. There, he watched the tournament and it was then his passion for KOF ignited.
