This is an overhaul of one of my old characters, West: Who does the S I C K E S T Backflips?!
West has always been a character of mine that I'm really fond of, but I feel like his old design didn't do my idea for him as a character justice. So I redesigned him. Yeah.
Another one of The City's Denizens, West is a literal bat out of hell. He's a bat demon who decided that crime and injustice are wack, and he decided that he wanted to be a hero instead. Not able to really do that super well in hell, West was soon greeted by a portal to a strange dilapidated city. Through the portal, West saw a fairy. The fairy was on the run from a gang of creatures far bigger and scarier than she herself was. Filled with a renewed sense of purpose, he leapt through the portal without question to assist the tiny creature, leaving his previous home behind.
Now he lives in The City, cracking villainous skulls and protecting the weak!
Fun facts about West:
-He cannot really fly, but he can glide very very fast
-Being a demon, West is very strong and quite durable
-His boots are quite heavy, and thickly padded for kicking
-Though he fights with a very orthodox, street-brawling fighting style, he's not one to be underestimated!
-Perhaps his greatest strength is his grit and determination, he doesn't seem to know how to do things like "give up" or "know when he's beaten"
-A heart of gold, West operates under a solemn vow to protect the weak wherever he can
-Look out ladies, gents, and those of gender unspecified by the previous two options listed -- he's single
-He wears a bandanna over his eyes. Not only because bandannas are, in his words, "Rad," but because he doesn't want his freaky glowing eyes to scare people. A hero should make the people he's saving feel safe!
-Always smiling, to protect the hope of the weak
-Very frequently butts heads with Pet Shop and her gang of cats
-Friends with Pike, Charlie, and Kalimba(He saved Kalimba! He almost died, but it sure was cool!)
-Aside from being a competent and resourceful scrapper, he's got cool bat powers too!
-He can use echolocation to see perfectly well without his vision
-He can produce sound blasts capable of rupturing stone, belts like a hair-metal singer when doing so
-Definitely has a super form. I mean, come on.
