Thea is a half afanc, half human individual with a volatile temper and great strength that makes her feared and respected by her Union coworkers.
At an intimidating 6'5" tall, Thea is one of the tallest humanoids in the Union's coastal district. She has long, frizzy ginger hair and pale skin decorated by dozens of large, iridescent scales and years of scars. Her fingertips taper into reptilian claws, and her pupils are slitted.
As a result of being the product of a mix between two different species, her eyesight is somewhat poor and she wears glasses to compensate. Any other possible negative side effects have been mitigated through physical therapy and ruthless combat training.
She is extremely hot-headed, and doesn't take flack from anyone. Her impulse control is shockingly low, and combined with her fiery temper it can make her a bit scary to interact with. Thankfully for those around her, she isn't always in a bad mood.
Before being signed up to join the Union, Thea lived in poverty with her adoptive older brother. His whereabouts are currently unknown, yet most of what Thea knows of survival and intimidation was learned from him. A prematurely severed relationship with him lends itself to her overall hotheaded yet fairly compassionate nature.
