I have a lot of info about him but I need to compile it all together. The basics are that he's a vampire plague doctor. He escaped his homeland - a very cultlike theocracy - after accidentally committing arson on the academy he trained to become a war cleric in. He was hunted for a few decades before the paladins of his homeland eventually caught up to him. However, in the nick of time, Skurgesaved him from his dark fate and made him an important asset on his ship. Naturally, they fell in love.
