Name: Lex (stage name, refuses to ever say their real name)

Gender: Demi-boy (prefers They/them)

Gimmick: Lex relies on being able to dismount the other contestants. This is of course very dangerous as throwing people off of their bikes causes quite a few crashes. Their body is made to be able to grab at people with any of 6 limbs (and a tail) and they have even been known to control the bike with their feet while getting into spear/sword fights with other contestants.

Lucky Charm: A scarf that was originally a participation award from their first game. The souvenir had some cheesy award embroidered on it that they have since removed. They still keep the scarf on them at all times, going so far as to sew it onto their suit.

Lex was a human who grew up within a world living on the cusp of morally grey. Their family, their neighbors, and even Lex themself lived with the idea of "if both parties are aware of the risk, then it's a victimless crime." So, when told their father that they wanted to enter into the most cutthroat and brutal sports of the city, The Races, he didn't object. In fact, their father, who was an engineer, even designed them their motorcycle. They turned out to have a knack for the games and would often end up making quite a bit off of the bets placed against them. As they continued to participate in every race the hobby turned into an intense passion. This all ended when Lex ended up in a devastating crash that left them paralyzed from the neck down. They refused to accept their fate, however, and their family, being proud of the income that Lex was pulling in, agreed that retirement was not an option. Lex had their consciousness uploaded into a robot body that their father made. In order to keep from any scandals about morals or ethics, Lex the human was reported officially dead with the robot coming up to honor their passion. With the new body, Lex only ended up loving the games more and allowed the excitement of it to consume their life. Now they exist believing that their entire existence depends on the games and fervently pushing themselves forward.

Ok now that the intro is done I am super stoked about t his character.  They are chaos/monkey brain incarnate and only really cares about winning. I decided that one time they were in a crash, but, instead of just taking the L, they ran the rest of the way on all 6 limbs like a horrific robot bug. When asked their motivation, Lex screamed and threw the microphone on the ground.
