Physical attributes

Long & layered brunette hair with a (dyed) blonde ombre. Bangs that fall in front of his face. Miqo'te birthmarks. Some scars on his cheek & sprinkled across his body from a combat-centric lifestyle. Tan skin tone, grey eyes. Cat paws for feet that he easily hides in regular shoes.

Trivia

• His class best translates to Ranger/Thief from FFXI. He is a master marksman with a bow and a gun but does not use music like FFXIV bards. He also has training with knives (both handheld & as projectiles) and hand-to-hand combat. His aether is not suited to casting black magic but he does learn to cast white magic in his late twenties, adding FFXIV Sage to his skillset.
• He has a bit of training with gunblades as well but wields them more like "guns" than proper "blades". His relatively low base strength and defense also make him ill-suited to tank.
• His gullible, entertainment seeking nature mixed with his poor luck gets Soleil into trouble sometimes. It's not that he wants to or actively seeks to break the rules, it just sometimes happens... accidentally.
• He's good with kids and animals, but a bit risky.
• A resident handyman and omnicrafter. He dabbles in music as a bit as well.
• He has ADHD and poor reading/writing/drawing skills. Reads and writes on a 1st-2nd grade level.
• Like a true cat, Dawn does not have taste receptors on his tongue for "sweetness" as a flavor. As such, sweets taste very bland in his mouth. Any baking he does is purely for others.

Cherche Dawnheart

Dawn's sister by blood and two years younger than himself. He was very close to her as an adolescent, often being mistaken for her twin. His disappearance in early adulthood would hit Cherche hard. Since reuniting, they are awkwardly trying to navigate and rebuild their new brother-sister relationship.

Shishiro Sol Shiro

Dawn's beloved wife. Shishiro started off as his overly friendly boss when he began employment at the Tavern, flirting with him in a way that would have their nonexistent HR department waggling its finger. After his initial shock and flusterment towards her very forward advances and unabashed personality, he would find himself eventually becoming endeared to her, getting to know the person behind the "Tavern Boss" mask. The two were married on the 23rd Sun of the Fourth Astral Moon.

Ren Tokage

Dawn's first and best friend at the Tavern. He seems to lose the few braincells he has in their presence, becoming even more impulsive and reckless than he already is. They are highly prone to getting into comedic shenanigans together and refer to each other as their "bro."

Demira Waveheart

[ daughter/good friend ]

Dawn's surrogate daughter of sorts. Demira being the Warrior of Light, and Dawn being blessed with the echo, he considers supporting Demira in safeguarding their universe part of his purpose in life. Despite an only 4-year age difference, they develop a father-daughter-like relationship neither of them ever deny nor acknowledge. It is an unspoken, awkward truth. The dynamic is a fitting counterpart to Demira's surrogate mother-daughter relationship with his wife Shishiro.

Bloo Berry

Dawn's crafting buddy at the tavern. Bloo being a shy and socially anxious type, he knows very little about the sheepish young woman. But he considers her a kind person and friend like any other tavern member and treats her gently (so as to not scare her off), bonding with her over their shared love of crafting.

Dawn's training buddy at the tavern. A hyperactive go-getter herself, he and Izzy are often found training or playing games with each other when they interact.

Sumio Serebi

Dawn's "kohai." He feels a bit aprehensive towards the shady younger man. Sumio is a highly skilled machinist and his aim is on par with Dawn's own. But he wields guns in a way Dawn finds dangerous and juvenile. The potential is there for them to be more friendly if they can build better trust with each other.
