Thrasher (Western AU)

Thrasher tends to be mostly laid back, his serious side only coming to light when needed most. Even then, it's a stretch he'll fully take the matter seriously. Even in a gunfight, he'll manage to crack a few jokes or try to laugh his way through the entire situation. Most times, he keeps his personal life hidden from those around him. Only letting the infamy that surrounds his name be the things townfolk, lawmen, and just about everyone else knows about him. He likes to keep it that way. Though, when it comes to wooing the women of the town, he has a specialty in doing so. From his charming remarks, sly comments, and good looks he's found his key to winning the women over.

Though he has his fun in towns,Thrasher prefers to keep roaming, never being one to settle. He tends to be on edge from his constant run from the law. However, he never let's it truly show when he's afraid or worried. He's come to be confident in his marksmanship and ability to handle his own to put his worries at ease most times. Most times, he rides into the towns with confidence that he'll be perfectly fine. Knowing at times he can truly be untouchable as his infamy keeps it that way. Even then, he likes to have his fun, finding his time to drink and converse when he's feeling 'social' enough to do so. Otherwise, he prefers his alone time, to reflect on what his next move will be once he's ready to leave the town he's in.

Thrasher grew up in a mostly stable household, being the only child, a lot was put on him from a young age. He never attended formal schooling, having rudimentary knowledge of reading and writing. However, he always helped his father around with general chores, projects, and simple quality of life items. It's here where he picked up most of his knowledge, humor, and sarcasm. He idoled his father and wanted to be exactly like him. However, into his early teen years, his father passed away, his mother never gave him exact details on how his father died. In a way, it put Thrasher in a not so good place for a long while.

After that, Thrasher started on a more rebellious path. Even though he started going through that phase, he never let his mom know or see the activities that he was partaking in. Into his late teen years, he met his long time friend, Dutch. The two of them shared a common interest in making money quickly in any way possible. After time passed, they soon realized how well worked together with Thrasher enacting the plans and Dutch being the one to do planning, and logistical portions of their bigger crimes. Soon after, another 'colorful' character caught wind of the successful strings of robberries all over. While they were stopped in a town, Blake managed to stumble upon them in the local saloon. They begin talking, by the end of the night, the three of them managed to become great friends and an even better trio of robbers. Rising to infamy from numerous robberies of storefronts, banks, and even passerby's on the trails. A large sum of money was placed on their heads for capture dead or alive.

Even with their succcess with strings of robberies all over, problems arose a few years later. Dutch and Thrasher had conflicting ideas and morals compared to Blake. Dutch and Thrasher preferred to take a softer, less violent approach when it came to robberies and hold ups. While Blake wanted to hurt just about everyone in his way. This led to a giant argument between the three of them on how they should conduct themselves. However, in an act to repair what was left of the severing friendship, they attempted to complete one last score. In this, it was a botched bank robbery, they ended up being surrounded by lawmen, and marshalls alike. Thus, a giant shootout occured, leaving Dutch injured. Dutch, Blake, and Thrasher managed to barely escape death. However, Dutch succumbed to his wounds and died soon after reaching saftey. It was here, Thrasher had enough and decided to part ways with Blake. Never wanting to see him again, blaming the botched robbery all on him.

After the turn of these events, Thrasher ended up laying low for awhile. Going back home to help his mom around the place with upkeep. However, weeks passed and he decided to set out, and start with his string of crimes again to help his mom with money problems. Even with the time passed, people still knew who Thrasher was, and what he did. His name still carried fear into those who saw him, and to those who were unlucky enough to land infront of the barrel of his guns. Still finding success in his crime spree, he felt confident again in himself. However, a new bounty hunter had caught wind of Thrasher and the price on his head. She decided to try her luck in grabbing him up. One night, while he was camped out in the barren desert, she managed to get the drop on him and tying him up. Leaving him at her mercy, though he wasn't going to make it easy for her to turn him in.

Over the course of his life, Thrasher has picked up a few habits that have really stuck with him. His small quirks of always looking over his shoulder at times when he's uncomfortable or in a situation he feels unsafe in. He usually tries to make jokes to lighten a tense situation even at the worse possible times. Sometimes, he'll even move the hammer on his revolver back and forth as an idle way to pass time or ease stress in a tense situation.
