Jasper or Jaspy, as some have known to call him, is a soft-spoken all-around considerate person who is known to be among the most innocent there is. He tends to shy away from the spotlight, keeping to himself unless he needs to put himself out there. However, in moments he opens up to close friends and family, he's known to be funny, caring, and affectionate. Most days have a routine with him; each morning visits the same diner where the staff and daily patrons all know him well. Afterward, he heads to his job as a bartender not very far away. Here, he shifts his personality to a more "sociable" act to fit the job and people he encounters. Even with some women throwing flirtatious comments at him, he doesn't understand what they're trying to do and takes them as compliments. Though the days are long, he endures it most days to see the small shows put on for the patrons. In those times, he tends to get distracted by specific singers and their ability to sing. Often, it gets him into dilemmas with patrons when he is making their drinks. 

Although he tends to work a majority of his days, on his days off, he still visits the diner for a bit longer time to talk with the workers about their days. Afterward, his time is spent doing various tasks to keep himself busy. For example, repairing a junkyard car he was "gifted," cleaning up the house, visiting family at home, or even staying at home and listening to the various records he has. 

Even though he's come to know this daily routine well, life was less simplistic for him when he was younger. He went through his days of school without much problem. However, as the world struggled in World War II it affected his small circle of family. After his brother was drafted and later killed in action, it crushed Jasper, though he looked up to his brother in every aspect and decided to join the Army by choice even though he was only sixteen. During his time in Bootcamp, he stood out because of his size, however, he did his best to blend in. Eventually, making his way through and being shipped out with many others to fight. During this period, he was troubled by what he saw from that young of an age, the many factors of war changed who he was. After he had gotten out of the military, he refused to talk about what he saw or did. Keeping it to himself, though he escaped mostly unscathed, he still suffers from the trauma and forms of PTSD. He tends to hide it from the world, not wanting to bring attention to it. During his daily life, he gets thrown into a stressed state if there are loud crashes, explosions, or even a crowded space. Even with his mind altered, he does his best to keep a positive mindset with everything and everyone in life.
