Numa

An artificial god made by a scientist of an ancient civilization. Her power is the ability to automatically know things at will, which allows her to act as an oracle of sorts for her followers, warning them of danger and telling them how to prevent it. Once revered, the society that worships her dies out to a plague that she dooms them to because of her own pride, leaving her to starve alone in a forest. An urban legend of sorts develops of “the Hungry Girl” while the stories of Numa are lost, slowly corrupting her and turning her into the Hungry Girl as she goes insane, isolated from all other gods and almost all other mortals. Eventually, she starves to death, but in the Underworld she recovers her sanity and encounters Phirum, the Guardian of Memory, who decides to sustain her on their own power, becoming her patron god. They essentially adopt her and bring her back to the world of the living, and she stays with them even after the world is eaten by Hunger.
