ABOUT
The first thing you ought to know is that Randall's real name isn't Randall, but nobody with whom he associates actually knows that, and he would deny it to his death if you found out. Randall chose this mundane, ordinary human name because [for personal reasons which he is ALSO unwilling to divulge] he is interested in one thing above all else, and that is fitting in with mundane and non-magical humans. He enjoys the quiet diligence of humans as they dutifully toil about their simple lives, and has sought to settle in amongst them, as if he can somehow shun and forget the naturally flashy colour of his coat or the magic that he possesses. He spends his days working alongside ordinary human financiers, being naturally inclined towards the sober, no-nonsense, math-oriented life of a money handler.
POSITIVE TRAITS
- Pragmatic and sensible, Randall is the type of guy that you can absolutely trust to handle your financial affairs with care, caution, and effectiveness. He doesn't advise a lot of risky trading, which may or may not hypothetically assist his clients in making quicker cash, but it's well known that as long as you're in Randall's hands you're essentially guaranteed not to lose your money.
- Very neat and clean. He keeps a tidy work space and a clean-cut appearance at all hours, day or night. [Don't tell anybody, but he's actually really sensitive about the fact that he can't wear normal slacks over his leg fur and hooves - the spats at least make him look more professional, right?]

- SO. UP. TIGHT. Randall's pragmatic, sensible, tidy and professional to the point of being uptight about damn near EVERYTHING. Some say that he never relaxes, and that he doesn't SLEEP so much as grit his teeth and close his eyes for a few hours every night.
- Incredibly guarded and secretive. He has a past that he doesn't like to talk about, and he seems as though he'd be perfectly happy to go to his grave still holding on to all of his secrets.
INTERPERSONAL CONNECTIONS
Randall just wants to do math and fill out paperwork and NOT bother with all of the silly nonsense that Cecilia goes on about every day, when she strolls into his apartment as if she owns the place and drapes herself over his furniture. He acts like he just barely tolerates her, but at the end of the day the truth is that she's his only friend, and he grudgingly appreciates her tenacity.
A big strong man who works as a package delivery man and champion of moving heavy inventory boxes, Randall frequently sees him either when he comes in to hand-deliver or pick up important documents to be mailed, or when he's delivering very large boxes of paperclips. He's a really gentle, warm and cuddly type of guy, and Randall would like VERY MUCH to do a better job of totally ignoring all of that.
A relatively recent and not terribly welcome addition to Randall's personal life. The Duster ran across him ENTIRELY by accident, drawn to the yellow glow of his gems when he was making his way home one night after work, and the little thing has been eating all of his paperclips and 'helping' to 'reorganize' very important files ever since. Randall's boss and coworkers seem to LOVE the little thing, and so Randall's the only one who minds that it puts him behind on his work schedule.
Randall fights tooth and nail to never let on, but he bears the weight of an incredibly traumatic past relationship that prevents him from being honest, relaxed, or vulnerable around others. How exactly, and by whom, was he hurt so deeply?
