✧ generally, virtues are bound to a specific aspect of which they derive their power from. more specifically, casper is bound to the aspect of storms, making him a "storm child". he feels a deep emotional and mental connection with his aspect, having a strong affinity for torrential weather (he also likes snow, but that's just a personal preference). being a virtue, he subconsciously takes on the role of a "guardian angel" for those he has an attachment to, and is able to sense the emotions of those around him through the aura they radiate. virtues find that maintaining a human form comes very naturally to them, though this trait can vary depending on the individual. casper can maintain a stable human form without much difficulty for extended periods of time, though he prefers not to hide his wings for too long if he can help it. all angels look up to the higher beings and the mater sanctus; creator of divines and mortal life, respectively

✧ casper was sort of exiled from the heavens (it was more his choice, though he knew that staying would be far worse) and currently resides on earth. angels who are earthbound still possess all of their powers and abilities, but are often taunted by the guilt of whatever they did to force them to hide in the mortal realm. in casper's case, he inflicted harm on mortals, which is against the rules, obviously - regardless of the fact that he wasn't in control whatsoever when this happened, since his stormwielding power "piloted" his entire body and consciousness almost like a psychosis, resulting in a human being killed. casper's case is not one of the more severe, and is understandable, but he absolutely hates himself for letting his evangelism overcome him like that and feels like he has lost his sense of divinity.

✧ casper is somewhat tall, standing at 5'10". he has a waifish stature and noticeably pale complexion - his shoulders aren't particularly broad, giving him quite a soft frame. he could be described as frail, however his tendency to wear woolly jumpers and scarves make it much less prominent. his hair is completely white with silvery undertones, having loose curls that frame his face and give the ends a distinctive flick. it reaches down to the base of his neck, with a certain wispiness about it, and is known for being rather soft as he brushes it quite frequently. casper's face and arms are scattered with faint freckles, some more noticeable than others. in his divine form, they reflect the sunlight almost like glitter, resembling little flecks of gold. he has a button nose, which points up slightly at the end. his eyes are green, and are considered his most expressive facial feature.

✧ casper is sort of.. eternally tranquil. he's soft spoken with a soothing presence, often talking about daydreams and whatever book he's reading. he's sort of the "therapist" friend, the one that can sense when something's up (literally, though he can see a lot through one's demeanour) and makes others feel comfortable enough to open up about it. he's surprisingly internal for someone who reaches out to those he cares about as much as he can

- casper will keep most things on his mind unspoken, and spend a great deal of time dwelling on them, daydreaming in his own little world to accompany himself to these problems rather than let them become overwhelming. he is excellent at dealing with things by himself when he does this, as he gives himself the time to fully immerse in and dissect the issue to properly sort it out. though, if the problem is too overwhelming to begin with, he finds himself unable to remain unfazed, and lets it get to him. this has only happened a couple of times - one example being his feelings and relationship involving eris. he doesn't know how he feels, if it's a good or bad thing, and what to do with the whole situation. these kinds of overwhelming issues make him act very differently to his normal self, being shifty and on-edge as he's so afraid of letting people see him affected by negative emotions.

✧ casper especially enjoys studying dante's inferno and milton's paradise lost, often comparing his own experiences. he's definitely an early bird - casper generally wakes up at around 6:30am, and gets up around this time as he's far too bored to go back to sleep. in the winter, he likes to watch the sun rise as he usually wakes up while it's still dark. eris really hates him for this


fun fact: he's pretty chill and is polite whenever possible but if you hurt his boyfriend in any way he will literally smite you with powers derived from the deities of lightning
