Questions I have to intergrate with his profile at some point. (contains mentios of death and necromancy.)

why does the forest need guarding? does he protect it from external or internal threats?
It's primarily to keep threats out versus to stop the elves and centaurs from fighting, since (almost) everyone is on the same side in the forest. I have to keep these... creatures we call "darklings" out of the forest so that they don't infect others.
what kind of guarding does he do - is it traditionally patrols and combat, or is it more ethereal?
Traditional patrols, mostly. Make sure the elves aren't fighting with each other, making sure the centaurs aren't intruding on the elven parts, keeping the darklings during their raids out of the forest. It's not particularly hard; I spend most of my day wandering around, talking to elves about their plans and such. I'm not particularly on friendly terms with centaurs, so I avoid them mostly.
what abilities does he have that make him top choice for the job?
Fun fact: I didn't choose this job: My mother assigned me this post. However, I can accurately shoot anything... He pulls out a bow that looks to be made out of obsidian or some other black stone but the bow has to be made out of dark stone, a magic infused, void infused stone one can only get in the middle of The Four Corners. He puts the bow back I have special permission to mine there.
has he ever wanted to do anything else with his life? will he live forever and guard the forest forever, or does he have an idea for an eventual successor?
To be honest, I have no idea. My mother seems content with leaving me here as guard, not having anyone succeed me. I would much rather wander around in the other world, looking at the civilizations that humans must have built to live long.
was there a guardian before him, and if so, what does he think of them?
Nope, no one before me to guard the forest, unless you count Herressa, but I am legally obligated to not have an opinion on her. In other words, I can't say any thought I have on her. He laughs, it seems like a joke to him that he can't have an opinion on something. One supposes it is.
what about humans fascinates him?
Well... everything. The way they can balance without tails or extra ears or an extra set of legs, how they can look imperfect, how they don't cover up their scars sometimes, how they aren't ashamed, most of the time, that they are imperfect (elves are really ashamed of that), how they feel like they require clothes and can't see how I can live without socks, how they need shoes, as they call them, how they get blemishes from their own body... heck, how the males can get... face hair, sometimes long enough to reach their feet!
how is he able to jump to the human planet? is that at all a common ability?
It has something to do with... um... He shuffles his hooves a little, his cheeks turning red with... me being part god. Many of the creatures can't cast big magic like that. Heck, that's the only magic I can cast! So, no, not a common ability. No one else can do it on this planet (except for maybe Herressa) but I can't do magic like the elves or the centaurs can, although elven magic is primarily life magic and centaur magic is very minimal and tied to the stars.
do humans know about this alternate planet? do the residents of his planet know?
Maybe and only Herressa and I.
what do most humans think of him and his homeland?
Most humans don't see me as weird because the other planet has centaurs too, but they think it's odd that such a planet exists where humans don't and the only thing close are elves.
has he ever pulled someone over that wanted to go back right away?
Yes, and I obey their wishes.
what sort of things does he do with the humans once they've arrived?
Mostly give them tours of the forest and keep an eye on them. I have my duties, but I don't want them dead before they can return home, you know?
why was he in exile - is it related to what happened with adam?
No, it had nothing to do with Adam. Once I was old enough to understand and to claim my demi-godness (which was... 17? I think? It's been centuries since that happened...) I did. And the centaurs and elves both thought I was lying and wanted... yeah... so, Herressa had me go into exile for 100 years to prove that I was immortal.
who is adam? is adam still alive?
He laughs awkwardly Um, well...
Adam was the only human born here, in my homeland. He was born with his horse-sister, Eve, shortly after my exile, from two centaurs Herressa made. Adam grew up to be a good man and Eve was always by his side. One day, Adam and Eve went to a rock, which Adam stupidly signed with his name. It killed both of them and... created both the leader of the darklings with his soul and Mon, my friend, with his body.
Yeah...

Did he know his parents?

Yeah, I know my parents. I mean, my father's dead but my mother's a god, so...

It's fun trying to talk to her sometimes.

What was his youth like?

Nothing major really. I was raised with the other centaurs and played with the elf children sometimes. He gazes off into the distance. Good times. Didn't know I was a child of a god until 17, but that's when the exile happen.

Has he ever met a  human he didn't like?

Not really? I mean, I dislike certain things about every human I meet, but I don't just hate someone for certain things. The only one that ever got on my nerves was Tom, but that was because he kept "pushing" me to go to the centaurs.

"You know," he said, smiling, "you won't know if you hate them until you meet them."

"Child..." I started in my sternest voice. However, Tom continued on.

"I don't want to hear excuses. They're just like you," he pointed out.

"No they're-"

"You'll have fun looking at the skies together, figuring out new star thingys."

"Child, I-"

"Seriously, though. Why haven't you talked to them?" At this point, I gave up. There was no sense in arguing.

But even Tom I didn't dislike. He had his moments, yes, but he was rather good otherwise.

What  kind of books does he  like to read?

Fantasy and scifi. I also read an alternative history book one time.

What is  the deadliest situation  he's ever been in?

Deadliest? I'm immortal. He chuckles.
