Gears

Gears is more of an alias for him nowadays, no one really knows what his real name is. Born in Meteor his parents were assassins and him and his lil brother always had to survive on their own, he later on starts to take care of orphans within the borders of Meteor City, taking up assassin jobs like his mother and father. He always had a clever way of exposing to others, even more when he realized his True Power via Nen Training, during his time as a hunter. He uses his riches from hunting, and hacking to fund his brother who later becomes very sick and has to live in a hospital, Which he offends, visits him and gives him lil gadgets he makes, and he shows off his skills with no mercy to show to others who get in his way. He seems to only care about finding a cure for his brother, and taking it by force if he needs too. 

He is a very level-headed man normally, a total goofball at times, showing a love of technology and kids. But in reality he can be very cunning and has a cold tone to him, he never lets anyone get the best of him. He is always looking to poke holes in someone's stories if they involve lying to him. He seems very calm and unflappable in the face of danger, even when he comes face to face with others like Chrollo Lucifer. This doesn't mean he doesn't know his limits; He will never go all out at the start, but rather test the waters with his 'Master Plan' and more. He is Calculating and always tries to show some 'compassion' to his targets. He shows a deceptively cunning and serious side when the situation warrants it, or when he is angered. Overall, he tends to commonly use idle conversation and outward concern to distract his targets/villains. 

Machina EX - While Being a Manipulation Type Nen based around Manipulating machines and technology gear. He can also expand this field to other forms of machines and technology by using his base machines to attach to them. He also has shown a great skill with manipulate machines with a special medium, a hologram screen he produces with emission type nen. which allows him immense spatial abilities in manipulating his machines OR People he has 'tagged' with special probes he creates, that can cause a strange metamorphosis of a half human-half machine like being that he can order around at his will. He needs to be able to inject the probes beforehand to have his nen take full effect. If the Probe isn't pulled out within 24 hours the tag will be affected for good, and become a full machine.

Fun Facts

-Gear's Lower legs are actually prosthetics, from an injury that cost him both of his legs. He made specialized leg prosthetics that can double as weapons storage for him.

-He is actually quite skilled in sewing too, He makes his own beanies and other things, always repairing his Jumpsuit when he needs too.
