When fairies stole human babies they often leave behind a changeling, a fae who take the apparence of the human baby. Aristie is one of them, except she discover this only when she had reach puberty. And even weirder she has no memory of her pastlife, living only with the feeling of being very very old.

Her antennas act just like snails one and she usually hide it behind an headband to passes as human.

She's now a lawyer specialized in curses and pacts of bad luck. The magic world is full of very strict rules and codifications and if you know them enough you can find mistakes in a curse s statement and undo it !

quick example : If a ghost says that the first person to set foot on their grave would be cursed you can try to argue that the cursed person was wearing shoes so they technically didn't touch the grave with their foot !
