Never seen without his red-and-white electric guitar, in which he slings on his back along with a few guitar picks.

Backstory:

(NOTE: NONE of the Amphas apart from Owen are official)

Owen Johansson was born in an Ampha community located in Chicago to couple Henry Johansson and Tatiana Sinclair. He had a relatively normal childhood, learning with the other Ampha youngsters and how to control his shiftings in the community. However, when Owen turned 4, Tatiana became pregnant with his brother Jacob, and it was at this time she found that Henry was cheating on her with another female Ampha in the community. Tatiana told her husband to stop multiple times, but to no avail, and when she learnt Henry was preparing to propose to his girlfriend that was it. She immediately filed for divorce, custody of her children, and changing hers and Owen's names to her maiden name of Sinclair. As soon as Jacob was hatched from his egg, Tatiana packed up everything and moved her two sons to Queens, NYC to start a new life.

While his mother was looking after his brother, Owen Sinclair was sent to a smaller Ampha community in the area to continue learning until he was 6, where until then he could start entering a mainstream elementary school. He also started playing all kind of musical instruments at that time, showing more interest in the guitar and the bass as he grew up. However, sadly after he was 10, his mother moved him and his brother again, this time to a part of Manhattan where there were not many Ampha communities nearby. He grew up with other creatures that harbored the area, most of them who weren't Amphas but were also welcoming of their presence.

He got into a local middle school when he reached 12, however to his mother's dismay, she soon realized that Owen was rather lazy, preferring to play his electric guitar and online games rather than study. She became even mad when Owen expressed that he had no interest in going to university, but since her other son was actually good with his studies she started to place more focus on Jacob rather than Owen. 

Owen became more and more rebellious when he grew up. He started to stay up late for flights and online games, and getting 'bare passes' or even failures in almost all of his studies, to the point he had to redo a entire year. On his 16th birthday, he treated himself by getting a tribal tattoo around his right arm, much to his mother's horror. Jacob was also angry with Owen at times, saying that his brother was 'not-working-to-his-full-potential' and calling him a 'screw-up', leading to a lot of arguments among the brothers. It became so bad that for a while neither brother was willing to acknowledge the other at school. 

When Owen was 17, he bounded with a few friends over on an Internet game, and soon found out that 3 of them also live in Manhattan and play musical instruments. They met for real in Times Square one night, and the 4 guys immediately decided to start a band together. They called their band Roarin', and the four of them would occasionally go and busk in the streets and in parks, building up a small fanbase. Owen would also start heading out some late nights to play his guitar on his own, and getting some fans other than those from Roarin'. And while this was not the success Tatiana had hoped for in her son, she was very proud of Owen nonetheless, even going to the band's concerts or his solo busks for support. Jacob also joined in for support, and bit by bit, Owen's relationship with his family started to mend for good as they realized that studying might not be the best for him after all. Owen also started to catch up on his studies with the support of his family, promising them that he'll get out of high school for good.

After Owen finally 'barely managed to graduate' from high school (in which he celebrated by getting an eyebrow piercing, and was gifted a Wind Potion by his mother as a celebratory present), he moved out of his home, and along with a bandmate rented an apartment not too far from where his original home was. He now works as a Hot Topic Employee in the daytime, and at night and on days off, he'll be seen around Manhattan with his guitar or his bandmates, playing their instruments to their fans. He's still on good terms with his mother (who has finally started to find love again by dating an elf) and Jacob, and will revisit them in their old home every now and then. He still does not want to go to university, but he is now considering community college, although he does not see himself enrolling in the near future.

Trivia:

- Owen is an Ampha, a closed species by Akushiyama (TH). You are not allowed to make one without permission.

- Owen is ambidextrous, and can play with either hand. He's born left-handed, but learnt to play and work with his right hand as well.

- Because of his wings, Owen prefers flying over taking the transport any day. But on days that are raining or are not suitable for flight, he'll take the Subway too, yet never the bus. 

- His tail is strong, like second-appendage strong. It's not uncommon to see him use it as a seat at times.

- He really loves to play meme songs (*cough* Never Gonna Give You Up) at his busks, just to annoy people. He does make it up with his covers though.

- Is a fan of Imagine Dragons (hence the shirt)

- He currently works at Hot Topic, usually at the cashier. However, due to his height he is often called to arrange the shelves too, although he has to tie down his tail and wings as they will probably get in the way; he's also forbidden to arrange the shelves containing fragile items for this very reason.

- Never play UNO or Poker or any kind of game that involves bluffing, for Owen is able to keep a very straight Poker Face. The only indication that he has received something good in-game is that his tail feathers slightly flick and flutter, but he keeps it under the table by his feet (or just under the table in his Amphataur form) so that it is very hard for others to notice.
