after an rp , pink got a microchip put into him through manipulation that hacked him, allowing him to be controlled to obey the will and commands of a scientist named "lamia". this virus / AI has gained a slight personality of its own when it was originally put inside of pinks body in an attempt to mimic his personality, and controls pink as soon as it gets a command to carry out.

after an accident, ( escaping through pinks antenna, which their antennas make clones, therefore he got his own body that is kind of based off of pinks ) they gained their own body and after a while their own personality, due to also having the self-writing personality ai. his purpose is to obey lamia, and most of its commands involve hunting down and capturing "subjects" for "testing." ( including other tasks and various oddjobs that lamia requires ( its implied he sometimes cooks for lamia as well , and is good at and enjoys cooking ), but often kidnapping and murder to some degree! just #GIRLBOSS things )

magnesium ( magna , "mags" by his 'husboyfriend' ) | it/they/he/she/any. he does not care, more or less. i mean he does somewhat care for it but simultaneously not really. and it also is derivative of pink who also doesn't care what pronouns are used for him which influences this. "magna" is their nickname. | she doesnt like attaching labels to herself, but often finds that genderfluid fits what hes going for. but simultaneously so does agender. shrugs ! | his birthday is on dec. 12th, which is his activation date which is what he goes by for his birthday even though they can techically be argued to have a different birthdate based on what you're basing their "birth" on. also, 12 is a very important number to magnesium ;) | oh also he probably vaguely glows when hit with enough light, and is also pretty flammable. both these last tidbits are related to how actual magnesium works, and its properties ;) ;)

will also dress in anything, regardless of its presumed gender identity the outfits are catering towards. enjoys dresses a lot but also enjoys suits and things !

- as of december 3rd 2021 he has gotten engaged to ultdirk after proposing to him on his ( referring to dirks ) birthday. #lovewins ( yes he now officially wears a wedding ring. his is a black ring w a purple gem in the shape of a heart basically )

after getting the chip out of pink, pink said something about the AI's name being "magnesium" and afterwards saying he doesn't know why he knew that. hence the name. magnesium is likely his codename or his like. filename? idk. that just became his Normal Name

- after some time, he got his own body seperate from pinks after his first mission was a success, but said success also involved him being removed from pink and both him and pink ( due to sharing a body at the time ) getting stabbed in the chest with a katana. just #GIRLBOSS things you know ! anyways, he got his own body, likely by accidentally becoming a colorclone ( more info in folder desc ) by escaping through pinks antenna somehow, or lamia just making it a body, and now hes here.

- works for "mother" aka lamia, the creator of the microchip and thus them. lamia has a lot of connections and is considered rather deadly, and will not hesitate to get rid of those she deems worthless to her including magna which he knows of and heavily fears, and therefore tries to do his commands and missions as flawlessly as possible. its a good thing he usually delivers on this. anyways, she is a scientist, engineer, and some other shit with a lab where she supposedly experiments on people. magna was originally given a command to kidnap dirk for this reason, but instead took marie splatoon 2 ( once again rp wildin' ) who owned the house/mansion everyone was living in at the time. marie and a lot of her coworkers are now MIA and presumably kidnapped by lamia and co. ( i do not own lamia, she is owned by a friend ! )

- either way, magna is often busy doing missions for "mother" as it is what he was made for. a tool for lamia to use. that accidentally got a personality and individuality of his own. magna heavily respects lamia and will not disobey her, even if he wants to, vaguely. magna calling lamia "mother" is also due to her creating it, and also desiring her to respect and care about him. which is sad because lamia definitely sees magna as a tool and doesnt really care about this aspect as long as missions get done, but you know !

- has axolotl horns.. branches?? feathers??? whatever, due to lamia being an axolotl, so its somewhat of a "hey this is a vague trademark / sign that this is a lamia thing" kinda. he also has a tag on his ear clearly stating that he belongs to and was made by lamia.

- magnas main thing is commands. it takes commands, and as a microchip before he got his own body, he would take commands typed out by lamia and use pinks body as a vessel to make said commands happen as soon as possible. now that he has his own individuality, he still takes commands from lamia as it is still an important function built directly into him. he cant really refuse commands, unless its someone other than lamia. he can take commands from others as well. he will always take commands from lamia unless this system is somehow physically removed from him. his own will and desires are pretty much stripped barren in favor for his commands, especially if its one of lamias. he still will talk and have a personality, but he will try to follow and complete these commands regardless of whether he personally wants to or not since he. yknow. has to in most cases.

- similarly to their creator, lamia, loves manipulation and playing with peoples emotions. in this rp, he loves to play with people who had connections to pink and he loves purposefully putting people in difficult situations in order to see how they react and to get further to it's goals. win-win, really. he also kept doing this to one specific person , pinks boyfriend ( lmao dirk strider . rp wildin ). often saying he would delete all of pinks memories and data if dirk tried to do Jack Shit to him. these were all lies, as he can't really do that on a short notice, but it did scare him a bit and magna enjoyed it.

although he doesnt really do a lot of emotional expression, unless you're his boyfriend, he's actually very sensitive and they will take things very literally and to heart if they care about you. probably has rsd.

also sees lamia as a sort of motherly figure, vaguely, but will never admit to this.

the gem on his tail gives him constant charge through some sort of magic or energy. he does not need to charge like pink does due to this, and due to pink and other bitscraps powers taking battery life, his powers drawback is probably more time or cooldown based.

outside of this rp , magnesium probably is never a canon character that exists , unless pink gets hacked by an AI/virus with malicious intent Again so
