Melody Hattori

A teenager trying her best to survive the ghostpocalypse alongside her siblings. Melody is an energetic, somewhat childish girl determined to make something out of her life. The Hattori siblings' parents went to jail when they were young, so they were raised by their grandmother, who passed away shortly after the apocalypse broke out. She looks up to her older sister Chris a lot for all she's done for their family. After breaking her sister's rules and leaving the house, she runs into Jay and the two of them end up getting possessed by Kumori and Natusko, gaining ghost forms and some of their powers. Right now, she's trying to find a way to undo their possessions.

Mel takes her ghost form when in the ghost world, or in areas where both worlds have bled together pretty well. In this form she can borrow some of Kumori's powers and she fights with big swords of light.

She's kinda clumsy, so her legs are usually covered in lots of small scrapes, hence the bandages. Somehow, she's never been too seriously injured though!
