Chester is 19 now. He's out of school and fresh into Mc.Donalds. Despite not being on the best terms he works "peacefully" with Abby and his other friend, Gibby. He quickly finds living alone and having a job boring. He either never has enough time to do anything or has way too much time and ends up sleeping it away. Animals start going missing and he doesn't really care because it's not his problem, until it is. Abby goes missing and Gibby is attacked. Chester tries to stay out of it, and he does, but he can't say the same about Rut, who is still crazy in love with Abby. Rut finds a way to drag Chester down with him. He steals Chester's phone and the murderer finds it. Now the crazy is after Chester and he doesn't know why. His house burns down, and now they're stranded in the woods until a deer named Ryan finds them and accuses them of killing sheep. They have to pay off this by working for the owner, a Border Collie named Ace. Time goes by and Chester grows acustom to working for him. But everything went wrong when Ace suddenly fires them. He angrily tries to find out and ends up saving the collie from being sucked into a hay baler. Ace reveals that the murderer threatened his son and he knew that he couldn't hand Chester over. The murderer comes for him the next day and almost kills him before Ace stops it. Chester from then on lives on Ace's property.
