Story

       Hopuko is the youngest daughter of the family. She was born in Aomori. Her clan was a big family and had lots of money. Her family had many large businesses. But working and meeting people can be so boring and tiring. So they left their business to the rest of their relatives, and withdrawn to buy a large amount of land to do farming and gardening instead. But after doing it for a while, they realized that being a farmer is not that easy. So they teach the young Hopuko not to be in trouble, they suggest Hopuko to go find something she would like to do that isn't agriculture. But because of her curiosity, prohibition became even more like a slogan. So she began to handle gardening equipment by herself at a young age. Of course, her parents were downcast, but they can't stop her.

        Hopuko enjoys learning new things like growing plants, takes care of the animals very much. Hopuko really love animals because they are so pure and lovely and can be good friends.She came out to do this more and more often, until she began to become proficient in days and nights quickly. It was as if this was the talent that was most worthy of her. Every plant she planted grew perfectly. The animal products, whether it's milk, eggs, or any other processed products that she makes, have clearly increased in quality from her parents' generations. So she became the first young farmer in the country to be noticed. Just as she was later appointed as the Ultimate Farmer. 

secret Backstory

        In middle school, Hopuko saw a group of boys cruelly teasing the rabbits that was raised in a school kennel. She tried to stop but she was pushed away and mocked that a young prep like her couldn't do anything. She couldn't bear to see animals being abused. So she picked up a small pickaxe from the vegetable garden to mow down the crowd, but instead, she was attacked because she thought she was going to fight. Hopuko who was stomped on couldn't stand it until she gritted her teeth and picked up the shovel and smashed their legs back. Until one of those bad children staggered and fell down, his head hitting the fence until and passed out. The other children who saw it were so unnerved and they ran away. Later, this accident was a big hit throughout the school. The boy who hit his head was injured to the point of a coma due to a brain concussion that became a sleeping prince. But Hopuko's father donated a large budget of money to help the school and the injured family to clean up the news. Which the school cooperates very welluntil this becomes just the past that has been buried forever 

        Hopuko has never been comfortable with what happened until now. And the injured child's family was also unable to tolerate this injustice. So there was one time that family came to Hopuko's house to finish things fairly. They just ask Hopuko's family to admit their guilt and make the right compensation. But her father opted for bloody violence. Hopuko tries to stop him but she failed. She begged her brother and mother to stop him. But both of them were ignored. Her father trampled on the child's family, treat them like dirty maggots. And just give them money and done. No apologies. His father's actions reminded Hopuko of the rabbits at school, and the fact that she was attacked to the point of causing something like this. Even her real brother didn't think that what her father had done was a bad thing, this caused her to lose faith in him, and entrusted that all men like to use violence. So she began to fear of men until today.
