About

Eris is an Orin, a shapeshifting species that travel in the dreams of ourselves. Rarely taking their own form, most of us will see them as other creatures within our dreams.

Eris, or Eri, is no exception to this. While some orins' take forms like birds or smaller animals, Eris instead takes the form of a dragon. However, they aren't large in this form, and usually are the size of their normal self. The type of dragon form they take depends on how the human perceives them. Though most of the time they resemble a Western Dragon. This form is time consuming, however, so they'll also take form a snake. But big ones...

It is unclear how old Eris is, but they say they're on the younger side of Orins'. Their tail bauble plays a soft melody that they like to sing to.

Personality

Eris isn't a very sociable Orin, but is still quite friendly. They have trouble iniating conversations with other people and prefers to go with the flow of it. They can be quite timid when you first approach them, but after they know you for awhile, they let the barrier down and are quite social. They care a lot for other Orins and will try to check in on their friends to make sure they're doing okay.

They are also quite curious as well. They find the humans they watch over to be interesting and wants to know more about them. However, she can be judging of these dreams at tines, and some dreams she sees makes her... less curious. If she sees something in dreams go badly, she'll shake her bauble and hum to it softly, lulling the person into a deeper sleep and taking their energy so they don't remember it. Eris is self concious of their voice and singing, so they rarely ever do it in front of others, and will be quite upset at you if they catch you eavesdropping.

Trivia & Notes

• They're slightly taller than average for most Orins'.
• Since their wings have little claws on the end of them, they like to use them as alternate... arms occassionally.
• Honestly just the reincarnation of a crow.
• If you're bigger than them, they'll spread their wings out and puff out their fur to seem bigger. It doesn't work.
• Don't let them on hardwood floors. Their claws sound like a dog that needs it's nails trimmed. You will become annoyed very fast.
• It's hard to tell due to how I drew them, but their wings are VERY large which makes flight with them rather easy. But, again, this makes them quite easy to step on. They've done it more than once. It hurts. A lot.
• Due to their keratin growth they're one of the few Orins' with teeth. They're very sharp too.
• Their teeth act like alligator teeth and will regrow if they break or fall out. This can cause them to knaw on things when they're 'teething'. It could be your tail. Be careful.
