Weiss

Weiss was born with oculocutaneous albinism, giving him white hair and pale skin, as well as unfortunately terrible eyesight. He's lived the majority of his sheltered life on an Earth-orbiting space station, and has only just recently begun to travel much at all.

Having been advised to apply to jobs confidently regardless of his actual qualifications, Weiss was shocked when it actually worked, and he was hired onto Captain Vule's crew after embellishing and lying about his credentials. Despite his inexperience, Weiss does actually have a knack for medical care, but gets lost or confused instantly when sent to do any other task aboard the ship.

Weiss is very loyal, though tough to get along with initially—whenever someone does or says something stupid he's usually found snickering or commenting impolitely nearby, however he does seem to be intimidated by crewmates higher in rank than he is. He maintains an arrogant persona of someone with little interest in anything in an attempt to mask his low-self esteem.
