He's generally an overall charismatic, mischievous, and clever goofball who likes to play a prank every now n then and loves to do crackhead shit with his sister and find new competitions to do for fun.
He has an interest in firefighting, rodeos and enjoys singing and trumpet every now n then (it attracts the ladies lmao) He can also speak Spanish since his grandma took the time to have both twins learn. His uncle is highly protective of both them both so moving out gave him a sense of freedom leading to being a little more reckless. Both got an early learned fear of guns/explosions due to exposure to the attack in their youth.
He also is protective of his sister due to her pushover nature being an easy target to creeps and bullies and how hurt she had gotten, leading him to being occasionally overprotective.
He loves his friends and family dearly, while hes usually cheery he knows when to be serious and fight back, he also has a grumpy side reserved for being mad at certain people he finds to be the cause of problems, he keeps getting talked out of instigating petty fights and opts for being passive aggressive under a smile.
BACKSTORY
Born in 1907 Mexico to his now presumed dead Mexican parents along with his twin sister Belle. 3 years after their birth their uncle Harold took them in and raised them after he rescued them from an attack on their town, later on, their biological grandma came and helped raise the two.
Growing up, both he and belle went to school but were bullied a lot due to them being non-white, to the point where Benji once fought off someone hitting his sister. (the school didn't do shit until Harold got involved) thankfully belle had met jane when they were 5, who'd become the twins best friend, Later on she met Jeremy when they were about 10, striking a instant friendship with the group and he was super supportive in her asking Jeremy out, after the breakup though he became partially resentful and hurt over how Jeremy left without even talking to them. Growing up the twins also couldn't go out much due to Harold being overprotective.
As they got older their uncle got a bit more lenient, to the point he let them both have their own apartments. He now works in a shop in New York owned by his uncle Henry.
RELATIONS
His closest family member and really the only other person who truly understands the pain they both went through as kids besides himself, he hangs out with her a lot doing shenanigans and practically shares a brain with her sometimes, He can be very protective of belle when it comes to new people but tries to let her handle things when asked (as much as he doesn't want to occasionally)
The only other blood relative he knows, he's very close to her and loves her very dearly. She's also someone who benji listens to the most (though not as much as belle) and wont hesitate to go off if she gets disrespected.
The person who took him and his sister in and became their guardian when they lost their parents. While he cares for him dearly and even sees him as a second dad, he felt smothered from his overprotectiveness
