Backstory:
Altair was chosen to be a demigod unknown to his single mother whom he lived with until he was 15. When he turned 15 he was taken by a fellow demigod under their god and taken to join the god's court. Although this God fought for the humans in the venerated war he harbors a dislike for them which he then took out on his court members including Altair. Altair did not join the court willingly and made multiple attempts to escape, which resulted in his god cursing him with vines that tie themselves to the columns and walls of the court whenever Altair tries to leave.
