Chara Dreemurr

a dead 15yo. wanted the best for their family.

Born to very very young parents, Chara was given up as a child.

They suffered and survived the tribulations of the foster system, undergoing quite a few families who either couldn’t handle or mishandled them.

At one point, they took off for the forest and climbed the mountain to get away from their most recent foster family.

The tics and neuroses Chara had picked up to cope with the foster families were completely useless and confusing with the Dreemurrs. They were given their space, given the time they needed, given anything they wanted to feel safe, and slowly slowly slowly they came around to believe they were.

They were still a little bit of a shit, though. They got themselves and Asriel in their fair share of trouble, to the great amusement of their parents and the public. Chara’s dint towards more dangerous activities lead to the inception of the plan at age 15. Asriel was on board at first, but when the first experiments had actual consequences he tried to back out.

Chara could be very convincing.
