Notes from Aaz: inspired by this tumblr post by Melissa McEagle about a pink haired girl trying to avoid destiny and not become a main character. "I'm Yukimura Sakura... a pink haired, blue eyed, cat eared and tailed and... well, I'm sure someone can see where this is going. Thrust into an unfair future, I just want to live my life. I don't want to save the world. I've read about this in manga... some plucky teen gets chosen by fate or destiny and had the weight of the world quite literally on their shoulders. I don't want that. I want to go to school, to university. I know all the tropes by now: don't sit in the desk with the window. Don't talk to injured strangers. Throw away random mystical items... I will carve my own path, as if a river cutting ever slowly through stone."
