Chihaya was originally breed as a show dog for entertainment and because she came from a famous parents she was loyal and easy to train. Born as a pure white dog (considered extra lucky) she was loved by her family, especially their youngest child. She had a strong bond with that one and was very protectiv of the girl. The older Chihaya got the more fluffy and prestige she looked.
The family who wanted to keep the pedigree going tried to breed her, which resulted in a small liter of 3 pups but they got sick and died shortly after she gave birth to them. Consumed by grief Chihaya turned bitter, stubborn and fierce and did not obey as she used to and soon after her coat became a weird mix of grays and the hair tuft changed its color to an odd pink. She herself could feel the magic that had always slumbered with in her awaken and after a few strange accidents the family decided to ditch their haunted dog in the mountains. Their daughter had screamed and cried about not wanting to be seperate from a friend and through her scarf after the dog while being dragged into the car. Chihaya herself had been tied to an old Toro lantern post with no food and water. She managed to escape by breaking the chains with magic and has been on the run since following the winds whispers as she makes her way deeper into the mountain.
Smart and clever as she is she managed to survive so far.
