Lila

Lila has had a mostly peaceful life in Florida, eating fish and the occasional person-then the witches came along. They drained her swamp, and drove out all of her food, leaving her to starve and die of dehydration. As she laid there in her cave, dying, a human came up to her, and offered her food and water. Desperate, she took the offer, and sat there, eating grilled chicken and drinking as much water as she could. The human introduced himself as Rikou, and wanted to know why she was in the situation she was in. Lila, grateful for the food and drink, explained what had happened. The witches came, and pretty much ruined her habitat. Rikou, picking up on her animosity towards the witches, offered her the chance to take out the witches in revenge. Eager for blood, Lila happily agreed, and later on that day, at sundown, they found the witch's hideout. As the sun went down, Lila watched as Rikou transformed into a yokai, and was amazed to see that there was a person who was human and yokai, much like how she was sarcosuchus and girl. Rikou told her what to do, and she felt compelled to follow. With his leadership, the two of them took out the witches, and Lila was able to get her revenge for destroying her habitat.

While rummaging through the hideout fridge, Lila found some steak, and decided to thank Rikou for his help by cooking dinner over a spit. As the two sat and talked, Rikou asked if he had seen a man that looked similar to him, but with red hair instead. Lila nodded, Rikou dropped his plate in shock. Someone had actually seen his missing son. Lila continued, explaining that right before she had encountered the witches for the first time, she had met a man that looked very similar to him, with the red hair that he had mentioned. She tried to eat him, and failed, and left her with a very sore bump on the head. She mentioned seeing an older woman with a witch hat that was with him. After telling him what she knew, Rikou thanked Lila, and offered her a spot in his Night Parade, knowing that her habitat was destroyed and that she had nowhere else to go. Elated at the opportunity, she agreed, and went back home with him to join the rest of the parade.

Eventually, when the parade moved from the United States to Japan, Lila followed, and now she resides at the Nura mansion with the rest of the night parade.
