Bast

Bast is a quiet, but brave and adventurous mothcat. There's nowhere he specifically calls home, as most of the time he is travelling around, collecting and selling his wares. Most of his stock comes from adventuring and foraging, he loves to find treasures and antiques. Bast is also quite the collector, he often keeps collections of his favorite finds, but frequently swaps them out for other favorites, or is willing to part with them for the right price, or to the right owner. He enjoys spending time on his own, but is also very friendly and loves to make new friends on his travels. He's a kindhearted traveler who often depends on the kindness of strangers, but he always repays them in kind. He loves to give gifts, and will often hold onto things he finds for a long time until he meets up with the person who he wants to give stuff to.

Chomps - Companion
She's quite the strange creature, but this mimic is Bast's travelling companion. She is a fierce protector, who also can provide a nice bit of storage space to carry extra goods. Chomps can have a bit of an excitable temper, but is always sweet to Bast. He doesn't know where the sparklenose came from, or what kind of magic created her, Bast came across her during his early in his adventures, thinking she was a treasure chest. There was a bit of a scuffle, but luckily, Chomps took a liking to him, and they have been traveling together ever since. She's a cheery and protective pet, and Bast dotes on her, buying her new bows and always sharing his food with her. He has no idea how mimics differentiate food from the other things that she gobbles up to store for the shop, but he trusts her not to eat the merchandise.
