Viago was turned into a vampire against his will almost a century ago. Given his immortal and blood thirsty nature and the fact of him being constantly ostracized, he has learned over time to distance himself from people and he is extremely hesitant to engage in any sort of relationship with anyone. He may seem like he's rude and cold, but he's really just trying to protect both himself and everyone around him from being hurt. Although, If he finds someone he relates to and really clicks with, he can be extremely caring and compassionate.

He doesn't like having to drink from people so he curbs his hunger by drinking expired blood bags from the hospital and by distracting himself with watching TV constantly. Because of this he hardly ever goes outside and likes to keep to himself in his house.
