Vivaldí was born to the west of Etharia, in the neighboring country of Lyndil, spending his early childhood sleeping on the cold floor of his parents' run-down home in the port city of Grireden. Life was horrid, the port city much too busy making big money off of the transportation of goods to care for the residential areas, leaving many to leave the area or suffer the consequences of capitalism. His father, once an esteemed clinician for the city, was now living off of his retirement savings, doing everything he could to make sure his wife and two children were fed at least once each day. As children, life for Vivaldí and his younger sister, Hashira was fun and filled with something to do every day, the two spending their time playing with the house mice that made the dilapidated abode their home, or playing with the only toy they owned in their home- a pack of playing cards. Playing cards was Vivaldí's favorite pastime, spending hours on the cold floor playing modified poker, Euchre, and the like. Such games solidified a natural talent for tactics and risk-taking in the young boy, which would only improve in the future.

After two years of living in poverty, the city of Grireden underwent new oversight and finally began to start working on the living situation of its residents, renovating new homes and trying to re-beautify the city little by little. Unfortunately, that meant higher tax rates, and for many, it was too much to even attempt to accommodate, leaving Vivaldí's family hanging in limbo for what seemed like forever. Sadly, due to his parents being unable to financially support these new changes, Vivaldí and Hashira were forcibly removed from the home and moved to a foster home, where they bounced from home to home in an attempt to find the perfect fit for them. However, with Hashira's uncurable temper and Vivaldí's lack of interest in really anything young boys should be, the two found themselves on the streets for the rest of their childhood, pickpocketing and making up crazy schemes to keep them alive through the night. It wasn't until their teenage years that Vivaldí devised a plan to sneak onto a cargo ship to Etharia, believing that the country could offer them better opportunities than their current situation in Lyndil. With that in mind, the two carried out his plan, successfully sneaking onto a cargo ship and traveling to Etharia.

The moment their feet touched the docks in Kanamaca, Vivaldí was trying every trick in the book to make sure the two would survive, his skills for playing mind games coming in handy as they made their way almost seamlessly to the city of Waekefield, where they hoped to find jobs and start a new life. However, the two were immediately introduced to the city's underground, where most of the city's less fortunate dwelled. Unable to find jobs willing to hire the two without proper credentials, they resorted to petty theft and other modes of survival, Vivaldí ultimately making a name for himself as a master schemer. As the two reached adulthood, Vivaldí's reputation only became more infamous, catching the attention of Finn, a leader of a vigilante group known for their violent methods of dealing with their targets. With heavy deliberation, Finn and Vivaldí met, and somehow, despite Vivaldí's constant teasing remarks and desire to push buttons, the two found loyalty and trust in the other. Currently, Vivaldí works as his informant, gathering information on targets and sometimes even being dispatched to take care of them.
