- History/about:
- Used to be a skilled assassin. Surprisingly efficient at silent kills despite their loud personality. Kills on their own terms now
- Fights with magic/an instrument
- Skilled with daggers but doesn’t like to use them
- Play the erhu and can maybe manipulate the flow of lifeforce/chi to buff their allies/debuff (and also kill :^) ) their enemies. They have an amazing singing voice too.
- Not above killing folks, but doesn’t do it without good reason
- Missing their left eye (took it out to avoid detection by their assassin group)
- They gave themself their new name
- Met Huoyan when they were ~15. They were on a mission when she came to punish the same offender. Although Pangxie had the blood of countless people on their hands, Huoyan decided not to kill them because their heart was unclear/devoid of enmity. She told them to find a different path, rather than living as a tool. Wreathed them in flames and helped them to fake their own death. Took them to a nearby town where they partook in the festivities (candy stalls, games, dancing, etc). Seeing how full of life she and the people around them were sparked something in them, and they vowed to be like her. She left them with the villagers shortly after, during which they cut their hair and gave themself their new name.

- Their personality used to be lifeless/devoid of will and killing was all they knew
- Shy/socially awkward. Tries to be nice
- Sad and sensitive. Secretive about it
- Kind to others
- Surprisingly endearing
- Dumb at “normal people things”
