Before Flurry was transformed into an Esk she was an older human woman. She lived alone on the edge of the grassland; her partner having left her after a long, drawn out death and her children all grown and left the home, she lived a quiet, peaceful live away from the hustle and bustle of the nearest town, keeping her own company and taking life at her own pace.

A very kind and giving woman she always had a smile on her face and a cup of tea ready for whomever stopped by her little cottage home; friend, family or stranger, all were equally welcomed within her home.

Her greatet joy in life was tending to her garden and watching the wild rabbits that lived on the plains nearby, watching as they grew and flourished.

As she lived on her own, Flurry had to make a number of trips to the nearby town in order to get things she needed for her day to day life; groceries and other such neccessities.

Unfortunately one such trip ended in tragedy for the poor woman; an unexpected heart palpitation, the poor woman collapsed whilst on her own close to the burrow she'd watched from her window for so many, many years and she passed.

Waking as an Esk was unexpected, a blessing from an odd, friendly esk that called herself Granny that had her existing in a new and completely different walk of life then the one she'd previously known.
