Mamiko Shimizu is the older sister of Tsuki Shimizu. They lives in Omachi, Nagano, along with the rest of the Shimizu family.

Background

Mamiko is an university student currently studying Biochemistry at the same college Yumi Kamenashi studies Biology, so they both have some common subjects, and sometimes study together.

When they're not at college, they're usually procrastinating at home, or playing videogames online.

Personality

Mamiko is generally a very laid-back person who enjoy peace above all things. They tend to procanosticate, and every time they're seen in home, they're just eating snacks and playing video games. Still, they can be responsible from time to time, but usually they need a good reason to do so, or a person who would encourage them. Despite their commonly immature nature, Mamiko shows a level-headed personality during serious situations, being able to give advice to their little sister when she needs it the most, since she's their true weakness.

Despite their laid-back personality, Mamiko is actually a very determinated person. They love their major a lot and are very passionate about it. The thing they don't understand is the homework and exam concepts, and that's why they tend to procanosticate until Yumi calls them out. They're also very passionate about videogames, and started cosplaying videogames' characters since they were 16, since it was a stress relief activity for them.

Relationships

Tsuki Shimizu

Mamiko loves Tsuki a lot. For them, she is their precious little sister and would do anything for seeing her smile. Mamiko knows how Tsuki is constantly fighting with inner demons due to their parents' divorce, so they always try to make her see that she is not to blame and a very nice girl. Mamiko was very happy when they know about Tsuki starting her school idol career, since that means she finally could open up with more people.

Hisa Chiba

Being Hisa Tsuki's childhood friend, Mamiko have known her since she was little and loves her as their own sister. They loves Hisa's sunshine nature since they know that's what their sister needs the most for coming out her shell. They're very grateful to Hisa for being there for Tsuki since always. Also, Mamiko usually calls Hisa 'puppy', and 'first puppy' after meeting Chiho.

Akina Kamenashi

Akina is their friend Yumi's younger sister, so they knew about her even before Tsuki joined the school idol club. Mamiko can talk to Akina about how boring are classes, and Yumi would lecture both of them.

Mikami Tsuchiura

Mamiko knew about Mikami for her model career, so they got very surprised the first time she visited the Shimizu household. Mamiko tries to look more presentable at home since then.

Chiho Tezuka

Since Chiho is one of Tsuki's friends, Mamiko got to meet her. Mamiko thinks Chiho is very cute and a sunshine like Hisa, so they tends to refer her as 'second puppy'.

Ran Shimizu

Mamiko has a good relationship with their mom, although sometimes Ran is a bit frustrated for the laziness her daughter shows when they're at home. Still, she knows that they are actually a very capable person, so she tries to not think so much about it. At least, until dirty clothes start to pile up on the chair in their room.

Yumi Kamenashi

Mamiko loves their friend Yumi a lot and is actually developing a crush on her. Mamiko thinks Yumi is just too good for them, so they wouldn't say anything and just enjoy their time together as it is. They usually study together and those times are actually the only ones in which Mamiko actually do their best at it, since they don't want to disappoint her. Mamiko loves also their free time together, playing videogames or having a coffee. Mamiko wants to know every favorite character of Yumi so they can cosplay them and make her happy.

Hanako Hashimoto

For Mamiko was a surprise knowing that the daughter of their father was atending their sister's school, too. Unlike Tsuki and Ran, Mamiko at first didn't like the idea of her being there, and acted very angry towards her. With time, and especially seeing how Tsuki and Hisa treated her well, they realized that Hanako was not to blame for what their father did.
