Born as a pup small and weak, it was thought he wasn't thought that he would survive at all, and it suited his parents just fine. Both alphas who come from a line of alphas and strong fighters. They wanted nothing to do with the weakling that they had born and couldn't wait to be rid of it... and yet somehow, the weak little pup seemed to prevail. Never getting better, and yet not getting any sicker either. Still, it was made clear that he was unwanted. Uncared for. A waist of space and resources His confidence quickly dropping and always with his head bowed. The male sad, and alone, and scared of what the world had to offer him... only unkind words and cruelty. His own parents couldn't love him... who else ever could? 

Leaving for his Rite, he was only provided a dull knife, being told he would die and wouldn't last a day out there anyways, so why bother giving him anything else? And it is, indeed a hard life, the male barely able to scrounge up enough to feed himself, but he does, at least for now.
