- He was originally named Yuyun but upon rising to godhood, he was renamed Demedoko.
He was a house cat who lived as a pet to a cruel emperor. He was kicked and abused, until one day one of the maids found his mangled body hanging over a balcony railing. The emperor's children had been beating him one day, and the poor guy finally ended up dead, so they threw him out. The gods took pity on him and they took his soul before it could pass on, making him a lesser deity.
Souls who had wrong done to them in their life would offer themselves to him, where they would then be able to return as vengeful spirits. He also delivered revenge for wrong doings against animals.
