Leon "Red" Becker

When Red was a child, he was very shy and a touch sensitive. He didn't get along well with other students, and was often left out from play. This changed one day by a young girl named Emalie. She approached him, and befriended him, despite what everyone else said about him. Red couldn't have been happier. For months, Red and Emalie were inseperable. They played together every day and talked constantly. Then... cracks formed. She became distant, and almost seemed to ignore him like the other did at times. Leon confronted her, and asked her why she was acting so differently. Then, her true colors came out. She told him it was all an elaborate trick, and she never cared about him at all. After the revalation, Emalie and some of the others took Red to an old, abandoned shed filled with crows and locked him in. Leon spent all night in that shed. He was freed the next morning, but was left with severe psychological scars. This, marked a change in Red.

After a surpringly brief recovery period, Red went back to school. Despite insisting he was fine, and the incident didn't affect him too badly, he had definitely changed. He was so shy before, but after what happned in the shed.. he appeared to open up more. But somehting about it was off. As if.. it was an act. No one seemed to notice though. He quickly made friends with the other kids, even the ones that tortured him before. Somehow though, he never made up with Emalie. To the point she was shunned by the other students. Rumors spread that it was Red that made them all avoid her... but no one could ever prove he did it.

Red spent the rest of his school days quite the social butterfly. He was the most popular kid in his school, even through highschool. He knew just how to entertain people, and keep their focus on him. Even if there were people that seemed to dislike him... it seemed that Red always had a plan to get them on his side. And anyone that couldn't be persuaded became social rejects... or disappeared altogether. But Red had nothing to do with that.. Right?

Red now goes to a prestigious school not too far from his hometown. Still very popular, he seems to have the world at his fingertips. But he seems to be missing something..
