Species: Interdimensional being trying to mimic a Nightfury

Age: a few thousand years

Abilities: Extreme shapeshifting, as if he was a liquid

One day, a small slit opened in the veil that separated our universe from...theirs. A small drop of existence was forced through it and banished into our reality. It manifested as a wriggling, misshapen mass of flesh as it was trying to translate its old form into the new rules and constraints this strange new place forced upon it. When it landed, there was nothing but bare earth beneath it and cold air around it. As the mass of flesh was approached by an unsuspecting Nightfury, it launched itself towards this strange new source of warmth and engulfed the poor dragon – chewing it. Studying it. Copying it. Newt shaped himself a new body, opened his brand new eyes and started living.
