Jackie is a shapeshifting creature that happened to hatch from his egg on a human-led spaceship that had been collecting samples of wildlife from a newly-discovered planet. His species is capable of assuming the form of any biological species, and can quickly learn to adapt among groups. As far as he is aware, he is the only one of his kind to leave their home planet. His only set motivations are to survive, and to reproduce.
