Dilara

Originally from the Forest region of Gočema (though frankly, there aren't many large forests around anymore).

Because she was the kind of kid that gets picked on on the playground, Dilara ended up reading inside a lot and studying far ahead of the rest of her classmates. As a result, she became somewhat of a whiz mathematician. Her mother runs a money exchange, so from and early age, Dilara was exposed to the nature of business and keeping track of money. When she became old enough to go out into the world on her own, it seemed only natural she would become an accountant for some up-and-coming merchant. She joined Redyn's crew without much fanfare, tends to keep to herself with her books. Lately, though, she has been bringing her ledgers out to the bridge, as she grows more comfortable with the rest of the company.

Her native dialect is Forest Gočemá, known as Raxiq colloquially. Its status as a proper dialect is questionable--some argue it should be considered a separate but relatively mutually intelligble sister language. Due to a historical devaluation of Raxiq, Dilara is nervous to speak anything but standard prestige Gočemá away from home around anyone but people she is extremely comfortable with. It took her several months to get used to speaking Raxiq around her co-workers, for instance, and this was after a slip-up in conversation and then consistent reassurance that no one minded or thought less of her for it. she jsut has a lot of anxiety
