Brent often puts others before himself. As such, he has lived a difficult life before he passed. However, the current him does not regret his decision of putting others before him. He knew that his actions has saved many, especially the one man he truly loved when he was still alive. Though it is too late to be by his side, Brent is able to continue being strong because of Amelie. Knowing that as a normal FMN Angel, she might leave him at anytime once she found what she was missing hurts him, but for now, Brent wishes to cherish the time he has with the girl. If she truly wishes to leave, Brent will not stop her for he does not wish her to stay because she was tied down to him. Anything will be fine, if she is happy.

History
After their bankruptcy, Brent worked part time jobs and did the housework in the house after his mother left to support his father. However, his father was blinded by his previous wealth and couldn't come to terms to the fact that he is now broke and jobless. One day while drunk, his father told him that he'd be better off if Brent died, as he'd gain access to his life insurance money. Brent who was tired physically, emotionally and psychologically, thought that it was what his father truly wished for and committed suicide. After passing away and becoming a FMN angel, he realized that his father did not meant what he said and was devastated. Before he left his birthplace, he managed to have one last chat with his father. Years later, he came back to his birth place to realize his father have already passed. By his father grave, the weight of his crime burdens him so, but he managed to snap out of it and went off once again so that his mind will stop wandering to his bad thoughts.

Even if that means he’ll have to be separated from her forever and suffer alone as a fallen FMN angel.
