Farrots

Farrots are a species only made in the Aether by guardians. Farrots were originally created by Shepard, but the other guardians soon caught in and started making their own farrots / angels. Farrots aren't inherently followers of their creator, so they must be taught to be obedient.

Biome: Aether

Height: They’re vary large. They’re 45ft at minimum from nose to tail and as tall as a three story building. Their wing spans are massive, but not inherently proportional to their body due to them not following earth physics. The Aether having a thicker atmosphere / being magical and having differing qualities than earth allows for their weird wing to body ratio.

Behavior: They are intelligent like humans. They can talk telepathically and think rationally. They are aim to please, but must be taught obedience if a guardian wishes for one to be loyal to them alone. They have no predators or rivalry between other angels, so they’re docile.

When they come to the mortal realm (very rare but sometimes they do it), they’re scared of the mortals. They have no instincts and we’re not taught for fear them, but something about how small and fragile mortals are scare them. They don’t want to hurt them, so they avoid them.

Powers: They have telepathy, flight, can create bursts of light or golden objects and telekinesis. They rarely use their light/gold powers. They have abilities like super strength, but that merely comes from being giant creatures created to have no flaws like mortal animals.

  Traits (variations are possible):

• 2 head wings (at minimum); used for decoration and facial protection. 
• 2 body wings (at minimum) for flying.
• Ferret-like face
• Long slender body. Their bodies are always long with short legs and long necks.
• Genderless 
• (Optional) A glowing halo. Halos are a signal of high rank and are only given to angels the guardians task with being messengers (messengers leave the Aether to collect ghosts). Halos are needed if a Angel wants to return to the Aether.

Color & Pattern: muted, light natural colors and limited patterning is the default. Shepard keeps his farrots the default. The other guardians might give their farrots details they aesthetically like. (example: Kelpie gives his farrots counter shading like orcas, Nyx makes her farrots black or darkly colored, and Fawn gives his farrots patterning of jungle animals). 

Eyes: their eyes are almost always white or a very pastel tint of other colors. No darkly colored eyes and no sclera or pupils.

Diet: they don’t have to eat. 

Misc: They talk through a hive mind network. Their voices are like a choir ranging from low baritones to high sopranos. their thoughts and voices are all interwoven and come in and out of unison.
If a human could hear the minds of farrots, they would probably be overwhelmed. Their voices can sound VERY haunting in the right context.
