Personality: quiet and unassuming. Extremely shy and would rather be haunting the northern mountain slopes than a warmer, lower clime forest. While solitary, she's extremely lonely for company and tries too hard to make friends, usually scaring them off in her eagerness. She is bitter towards her family and refuses to speak to most others she comes across; as a result, is extremely territorial towards granthrax and thrax look-a-likes.

History: From the time she was born, Tatonka was considered a cursed child. Her father disowned her immediately upon finding she had wings, assuming she couldn't possibly be his and nearly kicked her mother out. Larankha fought back. Eventually Nyarion subsided, but he never trusted his mate again and flat out ignored his daughter. Hyperion became her protector and attacked anyone who tried to bully his little sister. Unfortunately, there were too many times Hyperion was out hunting and Tatonka had to learn to fight back as soon as she could, tearing into her siblings when they attacked her. She became extremely aggressive to everyone around her - sometimes even Hyperion, who never blamed her for her outbursts. When she was almost a year old, Tatonka killed her two other siblings in a fight of jealousy - believing that getting rid of the 'competition' would make her mother love her - or even look at her.

Quite probably in revenge and some sort of built up frustration and hatred, Larankha pulled Tatonka out into the forest and nearly tore the wings off the poor year old polli. Hyperion heard the screaming and came running, recognizing his little sister's voice. He immediately tore into their mother, killing her and scooped his dying sister up immediately, heading for the last known place of the Al Shifa. They found Lazuli outside the territory, a young, but experienced young direthrow who was able to patch his sister up and save her life.

After Tatonka was healed enough to move on, she followed Hyperion and the two traveled for quite some time before a freak storm separated them. She has been searching for her brother since. Never staying in one place for long and rarely interacting with others unless they are Al Shifa, whom she is willing to trust long enough for them to speak their intentions.
