FACT: tourmalines are similar to agates, being as they are both classic leader gems - agates monitor quartz soldiers, whereas tourmalines lead missionary teams. her status is approximately the same as hessonite.

NOTABLE ABILITIES

- HOLOGRAPHIC PROJECTIONS
   + basically does what pearl can because of her gem placement being her forehead. rather than a hologram being the cold-blooded murderer that stabs you during fencing practice, tourmaline does it herself
- HEADLIGHT THAT MAKES HER LOOK STUPID
   + like peridot and pearl in that moon base episode. would probably end up looking at someone else with a gem headlight and they both blind each other simultaneously

PERSONALITY

❖ snippy, cold, intimidating; moreso when she reaches higher ranks, she makes sure other gems know their place and that she is of high authority. slightly more approachable to her team, mainly fluorite and topaz
❖ often lets her status get to her head. deep down, she cares dearly for those she's known for a long time, but never lets it show through - because of the emotional barriers she puts up, she comes off as very rude and full of herself, though this doesn't bother her as she is aware that most gems perceive their superiors in a very negative light due to their ranking anyway.
