Uriel

He's the arch angel Uriel, and in the universe we used him in, he was a keeper of the gates, judging individuals to determine if they could enter heaven or not. He became vendictive, though, and jealous of human's free will, thus causing him to come to Earth and then get in trouble by his 'brothers' (the other Arch angels) and have his ability to return to heaven removed, especially once he began to affiliate with a demon.
