A mignyan currently possessing a formerly lowly priest, who was losing his faith in religion. Intrigued by the turmoil of emotions of his host, Deacon decided to stay on the path of the church, curious and seeing potential in it. To humour - sometimes to honour - the memory of his host, Deacon carries with him his host's former keepsakes: a bible that contains conspiratorial scribblings from his host, and a golden cross his host received upon induction into the church, believing it to ward him from evil.
Staying in this body for over a hundred years, Deacon is currently an esteemed exorcist, rising quickly in the church rankings after possessing his host. Because of his longevity and due to a mysterious fire that started in the church archives, Deacon's records, his birth date and place, his name, were all lost, and he is simply known to the church as Deacon.
Deacon has no actual faith, and does not believe in his own exorcisms. He is mainly bored and unimpressed by the varieties that this world offers, and does not find much fun in many base desires the others indulge in. He currently spends most of his time residing in the church, flipping over the many texts available, finding mild amusement in carrying out the works of his long-dead host, and furthering any sort of conspiracy theories that his host thought up.
designer notes;
- He is a flat-faced anthro, please draw his nose to be relatively small/no bridge! a human form is okay if it's too much, but his flat-faced form is preferred
- His disguised form is simple black cat ears and a black cat tail, the ears are pure black and have no inner markings/color tone differences
- Drawing him with eye bags is preferred but not necessary!
- His has golden-yellow eyes in his disguised form
Bellamy is currently Deacon's understudy. Deacon is aware of his heretical leanings and attempts at necromancy, however he finds Bellamy's attempts to be foolhardy and only somewhat amusing. He tries to play the part of the good mentor - only in front of the watchful eyes of the public, however in private he dissuades Bellamy's attempts to learn more, finding it tiresome to keep up with such an energetic and curious apprentice.
