Emrys Morgan

Another Fortuna character!

Born from an affair between a rich mother and a good-for-nothing father, Emrys's mom payed ridiculous amounts of money to get her secret hybrid child top notch home schooling and magic training so she wouldn't have to be embarassed of an uncontrollably transforming child. Emrys's mother didn't really want them around for too long though, and sent them to their father when they were about 9, saying it was the father's turn to raise the child. The father was even worse at parenting though, and he abandoned little Emrys to live on the streets when they were only 11. Emrys turned to petty theft, eating trash and all kinds of paid gigs a child shouldn't do in order to survive. Life was little more than surviving for a long time. Finally, when Emrys was 15 their luck changed, when the establishment they were currently working in was raided by pirates, and Emrys saw their chance to escape their previous life.
Emrys joined captain Akalia "Nebula" Morgan and her crew on the Mistress, and took the captain's last name as a symbol of starting a new life. For the last ten years Emrys has been a valuable part of their new family and crew, excelling at scouting missions and acrobatic feats!

Personality wise, they're a sarcastic, distrusting walking shitpost.
