Nanami is best known for her elaborate pranks, although the ideas for them come from her twin brother, Naruto. Nanami is very intelligent, top of her class in fact, and she uses this intellect to cause trouble for those who bully others

- Trap Clone: An object trapped with explosives is transformed into a clone of the user, exploding on contact.
- Trap Web: A series of triggers interconnected so multiple traps go off at the same time, aimed at the same area.

Background
Nanami grew up with only her brother to rely on. From a very young age, the twins lived alone, needing to take care of themselves. They were forced to learn to cook, clean, and bathe without the aid of adults. Adding to the difficultly was the hostile treatment the village gave them. It seemed like almost everyone hated the twins just for existing.
Between being more responsible and excelling in her studies, Nanami became the leader of the pair. She was the voice of reason, but that didn't stop her from getting caught up in Naruto's games. If Naruto wanted to prank someone, she was the one to make the plan. She had an ulterior motive for helping. Nanami realized she could use pranks to help Naruto learn and took full advantage of it. Teaching Naruto helped build Nanami's confidence, although she remained quiet and reserved.

Nanami is almost always with Naruto, enabling his love of causing mischief. She does try to keep her brother from getting in over his head, but has a tendency to get caught up in his momentum.
