Theodore is a mystery in a lot of ways, even still to me. A little is known of his past. He tells he grew up in a large and poor family from parents who couldn't stop rutting. He remains vague on details. He is always hesitant to give away his age and makes an effort to hide any hint to his true origins. He is the one that rescues Mina from a terrifying situation and he offers her security. At first he stays at the edges of her reality but quickly engrosses himself in her life. He's fallen in love with her and despite what he knows is best he can't stay away from her. He wants to show her how strong he sees her. But love is a twisted concept for Theodore. His life has been full of darkness and violence. He can't separate possessiveness from love.
